Existing Conditions
The homeowners wanted more than a deck. They wanted a backyard built around how they live. The existing patio offered limited usable space, and a future pool installation would require a thoughtful plan to keep everything connected.
Our Assessment
A phased approach provided the best path forward. The initial deck needed to stand on its own while allowing for a seamless future expansion once the pool was installed.
The Solution
We designed and built an 800 sq. ft. picture-frame deck that transformed the patio into a functional outdoor living space. When the pool was added, we expanded the deck by 300 sq. ft., reconfigured railings, and built a custom pool-access platform with integrated safety features - all planned from the beginning to work as one cohesive design.
Project Outcome
The finished project delivers over 1,100 sq. ft. of connected outdoor living space with dedicated areas for entertaining, relaxing, and poolside enjoyment. What could have felt like two separate projects now feels like one seamless backyard destination.
